Chicago Craft Social
This is the second craft social I attended. As you can see from the photo I had quite the score. The goody bag came with a craft knife from Wescott, sparkly Mod Podge, and a few other things. They also had Endangered Species chocolate and I grabbed a few bars! I made a magnetic bookmark using packing tape and scrapbook paper, a woven heart basket, a box out of a cereal box, and started a paper cut heart.
Crochet Hat
I finally started and finished a crochet project that both looks good and fits properly. So many times I start a project and go just a little too far with the sizing. This time I was able to fix it with a big decrease of stitches and going from double to single crochet. Plus it matches an existing scarf and is warm enough to warm now. Please excuse the post workout modeling.
Look How Trendy My Mom Is!
Look what I just found online; the super cute apron I got for Christmas from Mom and Dad. Mine is the retro cherry apron (top center photo). Thanks guys, now I have to get cooking.

Kelly's Key West
We spent happy hour at Kelly's Caribbean Bar http://www.kellyskeywest.com/, enjoying Kelly's micro-brews and delicious key lime margaritas. The food was pretty good too.
The sunset in Key West was pretty but not as good as the first night in Key Largo.
